Anthems

Het anthem is de Engelse tegenhanger van het motet, waarmee tegenwoordig meerstemmige zang op een religieuze, al dan niet bijbelse, tekst wordt bedoeld. In de bladmuziek van de verschillende stemgroepen staan de noten vaak niet onder elkaar.
